Getting Any? (1994) on Netflix

Plot summary

Asao is a goofy 35-year-old who has almost no experience with women and still lives in his grandfather's house in Saitama Prefecture. Watching an erotic film one day, he decides the hero's success comes from his Porsche 911 Cabriolet, so he goes to a luxury import dealership and asks for a car for having sex. The dealer lets him try a cabriolet, but Asao's savings cover only a used Honda Today, a cheap kei car. He restages the film's scene with a female mannequin, then approaches women on the street with no luck. Convinced a roadster would work better, he asks his grandfather to help him pay for one.
