Plot summary
Lady Gaga's sold-out night at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles drew 52,000 people on the Chromatica Ball tour. The stage draws on brutalist architecture, with two catwalks, tall screens and pyrotechnic effects, while a smaller second stage holds a piano inside a sculpture of thorns. Films play between the acts, each followed by a costume change, and the show is built as a journey through trauma and healing. Gaga moves from her earliest hits to Chromatica songs and to ballads at the piano, and has said the show pictures the grief she has carried and that before this tour performing again had seemed out of reach for her.

- Fibromyalgia forced Lady Gaga to cancel most of the European leg of the Joanne World Tour (2017-2018), and shortly before The Chromatica Ball she said she thought she might never perform again. Rolling Stone's Hannah Ewens noted the tour was designed with her illness in mind, with fewer dates than any of her previous world tours.
- The final show of the tour, in Miami Gardens, was paused during "Angel Down" because of adverse weather, and the rest of the concert was canceled later that night.
- Gaga's September 10, 2022, Los Angeles show was recorded for a then-unknown project, and she tweeted afterwards: "52,000 people. Sold out. 30 cameras pointed at you and one take".
