Plot summary
Bi grows up on a boat with her mother Lai, who supports them through prostitution. A drunk client arrives while Lai is out and attacks Bi; Lai pulls him off, the client kills her, and Bi stabs him. The boat burns during their fight, and Bi flees to Ho Chi Minh City. In the late 1990s she gets by with odd jobs and pickpocketing. After an attempted rape, Jacqueline Lin takes her in and trains her with Thanh and Hong, two other survivors of assault, in killing and in sensuality. They form the Wild Daisies, a group that protects women, and their target is Hai, a gang leader who traffics women and girls into brothels and manages a casino. Three lieutenants serve him, handling his security, his drug trade and his prostitution ring.
