Plot summary
On a South Seas island, a plague epidemic is spreading among the residents. Kimo, the prince, stands accused of killing his father, the chief, with poisonous medicine provided by American scientists at a field laboratory on the island. Tano, a witch doctor, and Maranka, the new chief, condemn him. Kimo asks his wife Korey to exonerate him, and she denies his innocence. Dr. Terry Mason arrives to help treat the natives and is greeted by Dr. William Arnold.

- Paul Blaisdell, also known for The She-Creature, Invasion of the Saucer Men, Not of This Earth and It! The Terror from Beyond Space, designed the Tabanga monster for From Hell It Came but was paid only to sketch it, not to build or operate it; Don Post Studios manufactured the costume.
- Blaisdell's spindly tree-monster design, with long spidery branches, proved too narrow for a man to fit inside the costume, so the producers filled the creature out, making it shorter and squatter with shortened arms; actor Chester Hayes wound up wearing the heavy rubber suit.
