Plot summary
A Sicilian filmmaker and Zappa fan retraces the summer of 1982, when Frank Zappa's European tour reached Palermo, in Sicily. He held a ticket for the concert but never reached it. Thirty years later, working with Zappa's family, he rebuilds that night from rare concert and backstage footage, photographs and the memories of relatives, band members and concertgoers, while a Zappa biographer and friend adds his own account. The night broke down into disturbances, and police were called in. Beside it stands the filmmaker's own recollection of that summer, and the two families' wish to reconnect with fathers they lost young.
