Trailer

Plot summary

In the late 26th century, two human colonies live on a distant planet, founded to escape Earth's wars. The two sides have spent a hundred years fighting each other, and the great cities are rubble. Brecca is a stone-walled city; its neighbor Obsidian has black glass cities and advanced technology. On both sides, the armies are now orphaned teenagers. General Murren, Brecca's leading military commander, takes the last of his people's ancient weapons, a hundred-year-old nuclear device called Warhammer built to cripple Obsidian's technology, and leads a small team to deliver it. With him go Sutherland, his most loyal soldier; Abel, whose skill in an old form of computer warfare lets her channel energy into lethal forms; and Evans, a decorated warrior. Their target is a city that Murren's father and six million men could not reach.
