Plot summary
Leo boxes in Tokyo and holds a day job at a Chinese restaurant in Kabukichō. A punch he does not see coming puts him on the canvas, and a doctor tells him he has an inoperable brain tumor and little time left. In the same district, Monica, a call girl with a drug habit, is paying off her father's debts and is kept in an apartment the yakuza use as a dealing hub. Kase, a yakuza member, and Ōtomo, a corrupt cop, plan to take the drugs from that apartment and pin the theft on her. Ōtomo asks for her services to draw her out; she sees her father in a hallucination, breaks away into the street, and runs into Leo, who decides to help her.
