Plot summary
On the Texan-Mexican border, bandits led by Chato attack a gold mine worked by Paul Martin. Paul is trapped inside, and his wife Lisa gets away and rides to the nearest town for men who will come back with her. Joe Collins, a former Confederate officer, agrees to help for a share of the gold, and he gathers a group of armed men who want a share of it as well. A man who says he is a pastor joins the party. Lisa is wounded, and every man riding with her has his own interest in the mine and in her.
