Plot summary
Jjaks Clayton, an ex-convict, attends the wedding of his brother Sam, who is marrying Freddie, a former stripper whom Red, the nightclub owner who once did her a favor, strong-armed into the match. Freddie and Jjaks fall in love at the wedding and decide to run off together to escape the situation. They check into a motel, realize they have no money, and go back to steal some of Sam's; Sam catches Jjaks in the act and the brothers fight. Sam and Red both catch up with the pair, making threats against the two of them, and tension builds between Sam and Red as well.
