Plot summary
Miriam's birthday weekend takes her and four friends from New York City to a country home in the Catskills that her Aunt Gail has lent her. Cassy, Mark, Tanya and Leo come along, and Leo brings a video camera to record the trip. On the road, a van bothers them, honking and slowing in front of their car. The same van pulls into a gas station where Cassy has left her phone behind, and it follows them to a diner, where Mark goes outside to confront the driver and the van leaves. Aunt Gail arrives to restore the electricity and leaves them for the night. The five share a birthday cake and drink while Leo films.
