Everything You Want (2017) on Netflix

Plot summary

Alessandro is twenty-two and going nowhere. He gambles, picks fights and passes nights in jail, and with few prospects he reluctantly becomes a companion to Giorgio, an eighty-five-year-old poet with Alzheimer's. They walk together every day and banter as they go, and an unlikely friendship forms between the young man and the old one. Giorgio's memory drifts, and bit by bit Alessandro learns about the forgotten poet he is escorting. A secret in Giorgio's past sets Alessandro and his friends on the trail of a story none of them knew, and the search becomes a history lesson he never expected.
