Plot summary
In post-nuclear Alaska, the fascist Ownership and the rebel forces it fights both want the Equalizer 2000, a massive weapon whose firepower could decide which side survives. The Equalizer was built by Slade, an ex-captain of the Ownership who has turned against the group and joined the rebellion. Mayor Lawton killed Slade's father, a field commander for the Ownership. Lawton also wants General MacLaine dead, and since MacLaine leads the Ownership, that would leave Lawton at the head of the group.
