Plot summary

Peter is infatuated with Erica, the girl next door and a friend since childhood. On the advice of his grandfather Nonno, he pitches camp on her front lawn and vows to remain until she agrees to a date. His father refuses to let him back in the house, even for a change of clothes. Peter's best friend Matt has sworn off women and urges him to do the same, while Erica already has a boyfriend, Nick.
