Plot summary
An anthology film in three parts. In A Brave New World, research scientist Yoon Seok-woo stays in the family apartment while his parents and sister are away on holiday, and he throws out the household rubbish, a rotten apple among it. The apple goes into the disposal system and returns as feed for cattle, and Seok-woo eats the beef at a barbecue with his date. In The Heavenly Creature, technician Park Do-won, employed by UR International, is called to a Buddhist monastery to check the RU-4 robot In-myung, which claims enlightenment. In Happy Birthday, young Park Min-seo damages her father's 8 ball, orders a replacement from a strange website, and an asteroid heads for Earth.

- Doomsday Book was first set up as a three-part anthology to be made by Kim Jee-woon, Yim Pil-sung and Han Jae-rim, but after filming began on May 21, 2006, financing collapsed once Kim and Yim had shot their segments. Han Jae-rim's segment "The Christmas Gift" was never shot and the other two thirds stayed unreleased.
