A Tale of Legendary Libido (2008) on Netflix

Plot summary

In Joseon dynasty Korea, the rice cake seller Byeon Gang-soe shares a home with his older brother Kang-mok in a remote mountain village. The village women mock him over his impaired libido. An old monk tells him that a potion buried in the forest can cure his unusable penis, but warns that taking too much would bring disaster on the whole village. Gang-soe drinks the potion anyway. Separately, an old woman who has been a widow for thirty years prays to a Jangseung totem pole for a man, and the pole hands over its nose, which works magic for sexual pleasure when a spell is spoken.
