Plot summary
Lamberto Morris has spent 35 years in America directing films, and now he returns to the country where he grew up to present his latest one. His wife Wendy is no longer with him and his professional life leaves him dissatisfied. In Castiglione del Lago his childhood friends Rogo and Valeria have organized a film festival around him. Rather than excitement at the occasion, he feels an enormous emptiness at the absence of Wendy. His passion for cinema keeps him from thinking clearly about anything else. Rogo and Valeria notice his sadness and set out to bring him back to his roots, speaking to him in the language he knows best, the language of cinema.
