Plot summary
Mike and Betty Barry and their children Bonnie and Charlie take in a German Shepherd puppy after the family's old dog dies in an accident. A seemingly friendly fruit vendor is a Satanist who bred the animal in an evil ceremony, and his cult gives the puppies away so that Satan may overcome good. The Barrys name the puppy Lucky. At home he acts strangely, and both Mike and the family maid come to believe that something is wrong with him. Mike is nearly forced to push his arm into a running lawnmower while Lucky is nearby, and he barely avoids injury.
