Plot summary
Qin Feng believes he is flying to New York for the wedding of his distant uncle Tang Ren, a swindler. The wedding is a hoax. Uncle Qi, the godfather of Chinatown, has summoned the world's best detectives through the Crimaster app, where real detectives upload their cases, and promises five million dollars to whoever identifies the killer of his grandson Jason within one week. Jason's body was discovered inside a temple, his heart removed, an unidentified symbol resting on a table beside him. Qin Feng, the world's second-ranked detective, joins the contest. A similar killing had already occurred a week earlier, when a white woman was pulled from the Hudson River with her kidney removed.
