Plot summary
Joel is training to be a minister, and his religious grandmother raised him after his parents died in a crash. His childhood best friend K left that upbringing behind, moved to New York City and went into acting. Joel, losing his faith, takes a break to visit him. Before Joel arrives, K spends a night at a bar with a woman the patrons and bartenders call the Temptress, who takes many men home, but K returns in time to help Joel settle in. The next night the two go to the bar, where Joel meets the Temptress, who acts as though she has never met K. Dougy, a police officer who works supernatural cases, has been following her.
