Plot summary
Crossing the plains, a wagon train comes upon a single daisy growing out of the desert. The travelers take it as a sign and settle on the spot, and Daisy Town rises, complete with a bank, a saloon and a jail. The town also draws outlaws, horse thieves and other trouble-makers. Lucky Luke rides in on his horse, Jolly Jumper, and clears the saloon of its unsavory patrons, then deals with the men who come after him on his way to find a bed for the night. The townsfolk notice, and the mayor and several citizens ask Luke to take the job of sheriff. He answers with a single word: Yep.
