Courageous Warriors Beauty from the Ashes (2021) on Netflix

Plot summary

Survivors of breast cancer, young and old, describe recoveries that reach past what medical diagnosis alone could offer, shaped around body, mind and spirit. They created programs and pass them to other women on the same path: Personal Ink gives an alternative to standard breast reconstruction through art tattoos, Hope Held by a Horse is an equine therapy program designed by survivors for survivors, COPE educates oncology psychology students, and Nurse Navigators guide patients through diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Caregivers and women newly diagnosed also take part, and nonprofits provide their programs at no cost.
