Plot summary
Andrea Gibson, an American poet and activist, recounts their life on camera in a documentary shot inside the house they share with their wife, Megan Falley, in Longmont, Colorado. Gibson traces a childhood marked by struggles with identity and by trauma within the family, and the growing awareness of their sexual identity. Their poetry, they explain, holds personal pain and carries messages about the LGBTQ community and about human and political inequality. Filming ran from January to December 2024, following the couple as Gibson received treatment and care for ovarian cancer, diagnosed in July 2021, and recording the two of them at home during that year.
