Plot summary

Eliot Spitzer builds his career in New York politics, first as attorney general, where he prosecutes criminals in a hard-driving style and turns his attention to Wall Street. There he runs up against some very powerful men. The story follows his move into the governor's office and the advisors, reporters and corporate figures around him. Away from public life, he meets an escort regularly. Spitzer cooperated with the project and describes his own career on camera, and the interviews also include former members of his staff, journalists who covered him, a law professor, a state senate leader and several Wall Street executives.
