Plot summary
By 1999, youth gangs control the streets of major North American cities, and two rivals, the Blackhearts and the Razorheads, fight over Seattle. Kennedy High lies in the middle of the conflict. Working with MegaTech's Dr. Bob Forrest, the CIA turns three former military robots into teachers there: the coach Mr. Bryles, the history teacher Mr. Hardin and the chemistry teacher Ms. Connors. Former delinquents are released from prison as part of the experiment, among them Cody Culp, once a Blackheart. When a fight breaks out on the first day of class, the new teachers end it by force. Cody goes home to his mother and brothers, who are dependent on a drug called edge.
