Plot summary
An independent-minded American, Angela de Luca works as a tour guide in Rome. Shortly before Christmas, she loses her job. She then meets Oliver Martin, an American executive who plans to buy an Italian ceramics company. Its owner refuses to sell until Oliver has learned the heart and soul of Rome, so Oliver hires Angela to show him around the city.
