Plot summary
Inspector Mainul, a Detective Branch officer, takes up the inquiry into the murder of a young man. The case seems like a straightforward one when it first reaches his desk. As time passes, the evidence tied to the killing starts to fade. The conventional methods of dealing with crime do not work here, and Mainul confronts one challenge after another as he digs into the case. He is an honest police officer, and he holds to the case. Everyone knotted into the same thread of the story is on his mind, and he works to see justice served to them all.
