The Golden Fortress (1974) on Netflix

Plot summary

Drawings of a golden fortress, peacocks and camels fill the nights of Mukul Dhar, a boy of six who says he once lived in that fortress and that gems were kept there. Dr. Hemanga Hajra, a parapsychologist, offers his help with the case and takes the boy to Rajasthan, a land of forts and desert. A newspaper report of the boy's talk of treasure reaches Amiyanath Burman and Mandar Bose, two fraudsters who plan to kidnap Mukul. Their first attempt fails when they seize another child from the neighborhood, also named Mukul. Mukul's father then hires the private investigator Prodosh Mitra, known as Feluda, and Feluda sets out for Rajasthan with his cousin Topshe, joined on the way by Lalmohan Ganguly, a writer of thrillers.
