Plot summary
Ananya has failed her SSC three times and is close to failing her HSC. Her father warns that another failure will cost her a place at home. Roman, a local gangster, becomes fixated on Ananya and follows her. She tells her family, but her father treats the complaint as an excuse for her grades. Roman approaches her again. Ananya explains that his attention will make her fail, so he threatens a student into letting her cheat and a teacher into changing her grade. She warms to his help, passes her HSC, and receives a smartphone from him. At university she meets Shifat, a top student who tutors classmates. She seeks his attention, but he keeps away. When she asks for private tutoring, he refuses, so Roman intervenes. She uses the sessions to flirt with Shifat.
