Plot summary
Four officers of Kolkata Police take up the murder of a woman found alone in her flat, her body in a Banarasi sari with a tuberose garland, blood on her forehead, pinned to a wall. Kanishka, who leads the inquiry, is haunted by a similar case from twelve years ago, and Naseer, the most experienced of them, finds the killer from that case still held at Pavlov Hospital. Ritesh, the team's youngest member, is still finding his feet among seniors, and Bishwa would rather act than talk. The case presses on their homes: Kanishka's marriage to Mili is rocky, and Naseer tries to make time for his daughter Putul.
