- Celine Dion's A New Day... was re-shot in high definition in January 2007 partly because her short blonde hairstyle from the earlier filming was judged visually unsuitable on screen, so she went back to a long brunette style for the new shoot.
- On 18 January 2008, Live in Las Vegas: A New Day... became the first music DVD in Canadian history to receive a triple diamond certification, with sales exceeding 300,000 units.
- The release scored the largest debut in Nielsen SoundScan history for a DVD-only title, selling more than 70,000 copies in its first week.
- A first DVD of the show was planned for 2004 from material recorded between 26 and 30 November 2003, but it was postponed because the production had been changed substantially.
