Plot summary
The economic order of the United States stands as the subject, together with the financial crisis of 2008 and the recovery stimulus that followed. The influence Goldman Sachs holds in Washington, for-profit prisons, the wages many workers live on, the wave of home foreclosures and corporate life insurance written on employees are among the matters raised. Priests and a retired bishop are asked whether capitalism amounts to sin, and whether Jesus would have been a capitalist.
