Plot summary
Prabhakaran, a constable in the local police dog squad, is the father of Moolankuzhiyil Sahadevan, a young man who dreams of joining the Kerala Police. Sahadevan clears his exams and trains for the physical test, but he and his brother-in-law, Sub-inspector Peethambaran, are at odds. When the test goes badly, he takes up the office and tools of his uncle, the detective Karamchand, and becomes C.I.D. Moosa. Meena is the woman he courts without success. Arjun, his father's German Shepherd, is trained to sniff out clues, and the men Sahadevan runs up against answer to Khalid Baba Muhammed, a jailed terrorist leader whose target is the Chief Minister of Kerala, Ravi Menon.
