Plot summary
Chembattunadu, a village in Palakkad district, has earned the name Chattambinadu for the goons and hooligans who settled there during the feud between the Mallanchira and Kattappilly families. Mallanchira Chandramohan plans to sell his mansion to pay off heavy debts. Kattappilly Nagendran, leader of the Kattappilly faction, works against the sale. The police inspector of the locality tells Chandramohan about Veerendra Mallayya, a rich businessman and gangster from Karnataka with a passion for real estate. Mallayya turns him down at first, but agrees after his friend Dr. Lakshmi, who also comes from Chattambinadu, asks him to buy the property. He comes to the village with Murukan, his secretary, and meets Vadival Vasu and his daughters Gowri and Meenakshi.
