Plot summary
Ben Russell takes his girlfriend Cassie to the small Oregon town where he grew up, timing the trip so she can meet his family over Christmas. Tensions inside the household and problems the couple has never settled rise up soon after they arrive, and the two of them argue until the relationship is over. Cassie wants to go home, but the weather turns and the town sits far from anywhere, so no travel is possible. She and Ben are stuck with each other for the rest of the holiday, spending Christmas alongside his family in the middle of a breakup.
