Plot summary

Renato lives on a ranch surrounded by nature, spending his days taming wild horses. They are the only creatures he has ever managed to relate to. When his son Tommaso hears that Renato is about to embark on another dangerous endeavor, he returns home to try to dissuade him. Father and son have long been kept apart by resentment, and Tommaso's return gives them a chance to face it. Day by day, the two confront each other, working through the pain that separates them. They try to find a way to walk together again on the steep path to forgiveness.
