Plot summary
Dublin, Texas, was the first place to bottle Dr Pepper, in 1891, and its plant was still producing the soft drink with pure cane sugar in the 1970s. That version became known as Dublin Dr Pepper. The wider soda business had moved to high fructose corn syrup, and the difference won Dublin Dr Pepper cult status. The history of the small bottling operation, and the events that led to the end of its relationship with its parent corporation, The Dr Pepper Snapple Group, in 2012, are told through exclusive interviews and footage, along with the public outcry from fans of the Dublin soda that continues to this day.
