Born in a Ballroom (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

The night of March 29, 1917, the log cabin where Eleanor Mailloux's parents lived caught fire. Her mother reached a plantation house close by and gave birth on its ballroom floor. Eleanor went on to teach, serve with the Red Cross, travel, and raise five children, and she co-founded the Hütte, a Swiss restaurant in her hometown of Helvetia, West Virginia. The restaurant's cooking, decorations and customs draw on the heritage of both the town and its founder, and it has won national attention in print and on television. Interviews recorded earlier and news footage carry her voice as the Hütte moves through the seasons.
