Plot summary
Cecile, who is 17, spends the summer at her father's villa on the French Riviera. Raymond, her widowed father, is a wealthy playboy, and Elsa, the woman he is currently seeing, is with them. Cecile meets Philippe, a law student staying at a nearby villa with his mother, and the two are drawn to each other. Anne, a fashion designer and a friend of Cecile's late mother, accepts Raymond's invitation to spend the summer. Anne is upset when Cecile tells her that Elsa is staying at the villa. Cecile and Elsa notice Raymond and Anne growing close.
