Plot summary
Humphrey Bogart is the subject of a documentary built around five women: his mother and the four women he married, one of them Lauren Bacall. The images come from rare footage held by his estate, and the narration is drawn from his own words. The account follows how he came to star in Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon and The Big Sleep, and presents his stardom as hard won.
