Plot summary
Lovely Singh is sent by Sartaj Rana to free abducted women bound for Thailand, which leaves the Mhatre brothers, Ranjan and Vikrant, enraged at him. Fearing them, Sartaj hires Lovely as a bodyguard for his daughter Divya, a college student, and her friend Maya, so Lovely follows the two everywhere. Divya resents the constant company and invents Chhaya, a fellow student who phones Lovely again and again and tells him she loves him. Lovely is hesitant at first, then grows close to the mysterious caller he has never met, and the calls give Divya room to move without him at her side.
