Plot summary
Jeffrey Rozario, a wealthy businessman, insults the matchmaker Jai Kishen when the family of a suitor for his daughter Sarah turns out not to be rich. Jai Kishen resolves to teach him a lesson for his arrogance. On the road home he meets Raju, a railway station porter who wears the Coolie No. 1 badge and is known among the porters for courage, having recently gotten a drug dealer named Mahesh arrested. Raju is struck by Sarah's photograph, and Jai Kishen finds a use for him. Coached by Jai Kishen and aided by his mechanic friend Deepak, Raju presents himself as Kunwar Raj Pratap Singh, a prince of Singapore, and wins Sarah's heart. Her sister Anju in turn falls for Deepak.
