Plot summary
Lisa Roberts draws comic books for a living in New York City. She is raped, and the police there give her the runaround. She leaves the city for a small town in Arizona. Randall Atkins propositions her soon after she arrives, and she brings her complaint to Steve Smith, the local policeman. Smith is sympathetic, and he tells her that Atkins has been accused of this kind of offense before.
