Plot summary
Architect Larry Andrews and his new wife Barbara arrive on a small island off the Philippine coast planning to move into a condominium. Larry's business associate Del tells them the residence is not ready and pays for a hotel instead, and Barbara complains that Del exploits her husband. At dinner Del admits that there never was a condominium and that he has arranged for the couple to stay at Casa Fortuna, an old colonial mansion. Local legend holds that the mansion's first lady, Alma Martín, and her husband Esteban killed each other there, and that she had turned to the occult before that. Barbara is woken by chanting and troubled by visions of a woman.
