Plot summary
Filmed on the world tour behind her second solo album, B'Day, the show puts Beyoncé Knowles at the center of a stage built around a large moving staircase, with an all-female band, Suga Mama, and a group of dancers. Songs come from B'Day and Dangerously in Love as well as from her Destiny's Child years, including a ten-song medley of the group's material. Suga Mama plays instrumental interludes between segments while she changes costumes, and men appear only as dancers. Guest performers join her for duets and for a Destiny's Child song. The show includes references to James Brown and Donna Summer.

- American performer Neal Medlyn re-enacted the whole concert film in an hour-long show at the New Museum in April 2008, titled The Neal Medlyn Experience Live, with dancers Will Rawls and Erick Montes. He sang along to the DVD audio track, matching its between-song patter word for word.
- The Beyoncé Experience Live also features a twenty-seven-song jukebox feature, one which was achieved by the use of advanced "bitwise" programming.
- At the end of the show, Beyoncé's former Destiny's Child bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland led the audience in singing "Happy Birthday to You" to her, to mark her birthday two days later.
