Plot summary
In Beverly Hills, the wealthy Vivian Ashe leaves for a business trip and puts her pampered chihuahua Chloe in the care of her niece Rachel. Sam, a landscaper, has a chihuahua named Papi who adores Chloe, and she has no patience for him. Rachel decides on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Mexico and brings Chloe. When Rachel goes out dancing and leaves her in the hotel room, Chloe sets off to find her and is seized by dognappers, who take her to Mexico City for dog fights. There she meets Delgado, a German Shepherd who knows the streets. Rachel comes back to an empty room, and the ringleader Vasquez sends a Doberman, El Diablo, after Chloe.
