Betray: Thirst (2025) on Netflix

Plot summary

Jamal Wiggins built his practice at Tate and Wiggins, the firm he started with Darren Tate, his college roommate and friend. At work he is a success, but his marriage to Shavonne, his wife of fifteen years, has gone without intimacy. A new case brings him Jada Campbell, whose husband was in an accident that altered his life. Jada has suffered verbal and emotional abuse from her husband, and she develops feelings for Jamal. He gives in to that temptation and crosses a professional boundary with a client. The world he has built begins to look as though it may collapse.
