Plot summary

Few names in sports are more recognizable than Evel Knievel's. He was brash, bold and daring, and he faced death from the seat of his motorcycle. The white leather jumpsuit and the Harley are still tied to his name. Long after he put them aside, the name stood for the death-defying life he had led. Few know the story behind the boy from Butte, Montana. The documentary tells that story, following his real life and career, with the man himself appearing in archival footage and interviewees giving their accounts. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was shown in Sydney and London.
