Plot summary
Dr. David Myers works as a psychologist and has been depressed since he lost his wife, and he no longer feels good at his job. He meets Pele Peterson, a homeless young woman who draws well and was sexually abused as a child. Myers follows her and gets a chance to talk with her. She behaves badly toward him at first and annoys him, and he tolerates it patiently.
