Ao: The Last Hunter (2010) on Netflix

Plot summary

Ao is a Neanderthal hunter who lives with a small clan in the northern tundra of Siberia, together with his wife Unak and their baby daughter Néa. When modern humans arrive on the landscape, the clan is massacred, and Ao sets out alone toward the southern land where he was born, hoping to rejoin Oa, the twin brother he lost in childhood. On the road he falls into a pit while hunting a wild boar and is captured by Cro-Magnon hunters under the headman Aguk, who shut him in a storeroom holding the bodies of earlier sacrifices. In that room he meets Aki, a pregnant woman from another tribe, held by the same band.
