Plot summary
Below ground across South Vietnam, the Vietcong have built extensive tunnel complexes over the course of the conflict. A US Army squad is sent into the field during the Vietnam War to gather intelligence materials, and the squad meets enemy forces inside those tunnels. A small outpost is ambushed, and the soldiers must carry the battle below the surface. The fighting that follows is a kind of warfare they have never seen.
